Ronn Kliger, CEO, Co-Founder
Ronn has focused throughout  his career on developing and bringing new technologies to market. Most recently he held general management positions at Analog Devices founding and leading several new business units. Ronn began his career at Raytheon Company in a variety of engineering and engineering management positions involving radar systems development.  Ronn has a BEE from Georgia Tech, an MSEE from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from Northeastern University.

 

Val Marinov, CTO, Founder
Val’s work in embedding ultra-thin silicon chips in paper has received a worldwide attention and been featured in a variety of major media outlets and technical publications. He is also a Professor at North Dakota State University. His prior affiliations include universities and research institutions in Cyprus, Bulgaria, and South Korea. He has (co)authored over fifty research publications in broad and diversified fields, most recently in the area of laser methods for advanced microelectronics packaging. Val has a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Manufacturing Engineering from the Technical University in Rousse, Bulgaria and a Ph.D. in Manufacturing Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria.

 

 

 

 

Advisory Board

 

John Chory

John is a corporate partner at Latham & Watkins. His practice focuses on the representation of technology and life sciences companies from startup through IPO. John has received numerous recognitions including 2014-2015 Boston Venture Capital Law "Lawyer of the Year" by Best Lawyers. He has received a BS from the US Military Academy, an MBA from Golden Gate University, and a JD from Harvard Law School.

 

Doug Crane

Doug is an eighth-generation papermaker who most recently was Vice President of Business Development and Government Relations at Crane & Co. Over the course of his thirty year career at Crane, Doug held a variety of positions in engineering, manufacturing, government affairs, and business development. Doug has BS in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University, an MS in Paper Science from the Institute of Paper Science and Technology, and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

 

Glenn Gengel

Glenn is an experienced high tech manufacturing executive. He has served as Vice President of Operations at Plextronics, Inc., as well as Vice President of Manufacturing at Alien Technology Corporation. He currently is Vice President of Manufacturing and Quality at Sage Electrochromics. Over his 20 years of manufacturing experience, he started up seven factories that range from pilot lines to $60 million factories, all within the context of roll to roll printed electronics. Glenn has received degrees in Physics and Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Masters of Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.

 

Ueli Morant

Ueli is a business development advisor to a number of US-domestic and international companies. In 2005 he co-founded Nano Terra, Inc. together with Professor George Whitesides at Harvard and served as the company's President for ten years. The company successfully developed and commercialized nanotechnology based products in collaboration with Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Nano Terra, Ueli served in regional and global marketing roles for both Philips Electronics and IBM. He started his US career in advertising and marketing, after having graduated from the School of Economics in Berne, Switzerland.​

 

Mitch Tyson

Mitch is an experienced high tech executive and entrepreneur. He serves on a number of corporate, non-profit, and governmental advisory boards and has been the CEO of several high tech companies. He currently is a co-founder and co-chair of the New England Clean Energy Council, a co-chair of the Governor's Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative, an Adjunct Professor at the International Business School at Brandeis University, and a member of the Clean Energy Venture Group. Mitch has a Bachelors of Science in Physics, a Masters of Science in Nuclear Engineering, and a second Masters of Science in Political Science, all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
